• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament rating (PBR) as our determinant
• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up 1 from your self-rating
• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically
No Membership in any association is required for registration.
The Nick Hostler Memorial Tournament is hosted by the Nick Hostler Foundation, Ozarks Pickleball Club, and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. This will be the 9th annual tournament where the proceeds are donated to projects and other foundations that provide opportunities and services to the special needs community. Nick was a special education teacher that only saw opportunities, not challenges, for his special friends. He wanted them to be able to experience life to their fullest.
By participating in this tournament, you will be helping these special people get that opportunity. Come join this pickleball family reunion. The tournament will be held at Gillenwaters Tennis Complex. 24 temporary nets on tennis surface. The ball will be the Onix Dura Fast 40.

This league runs Thursdays from August 20, 2026 through September 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Each week features organized match play with balanced rotations to ensure competitive games and plenty of court time.

The Fall 2026 DMV Senior Open is a United States Senior Pickleball (USSP) circuit event, with registration limited to players age 50 (based on age as of Dec. 31, 2026) and above. Playing this event qualifies participants to register for the USSP National Tournament in Casa Grande, AZ on Nov. 30-Dec. 5, 2026. All USSP members receive a $10 discount off the registration for the first event by including your USSP membership number at time of registration. Desert Breeze Community Center will host a qualifier to select a squad representing senior pickleball players from west Clark County. Teams will compete in a rotating round robin, with games played to 11 points and won by one. The top four mixed doubles teams will advance to the Senior Pickleball Tournament at Sunset Park on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Desert Breeze will again face rival Cora Coleman Senior Center for a revolving trophy, which the winning center will display until the next season. The top four mixed doubles teams from Cora Coleman Senior Center will compete against Desert Breeze Community Center’s best teams at Sunset Park on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The rival centers will vie for a revolving trophy that the winner will display until the following season.
