Best seniors compete in southern Nevada invitational

A squad of four mixed-doubles teams from the east and the west side of the southern Nevada valley met Thursday, March 26th for end-of-season competition. The championship event was held at Sunset Park. The Coleman squad once again takes home the revolving trophy that will be on display at their Center until next season. Seniors from all Clark County Recreational Centers have the opportunity to qualify for future competition by registering and playing preliminary round robins at either Desert Breeze or Cora Coleman facilities. Watch for the Fall 2026 season announcement. The competition just keeps getting better. Thank you Clark County Parks and Recreation staff, all players involved along the way, the volunteers and Commissioner Justin Jones for making this season happen. A special shout out to Russell Thompson and Jeff Yates for organizing senior pickleball competition and bringing a little joy to players in southern Nevada.
